Connect Pressa to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or Codex

Claude

Works on every Claude plan, including Free, in the browser, the Claude app on your computer and on your phone. Nothing to download.

Add to Claude

Click "Add to Claude". Claude opens with Pressa already filled in (sign in to Claude first if it asks).
Claude shows a red note that the connector came from a link. That is normal: check that the address is https://api.pressa.dev/mcp and click Continue.
When it asks how to sign in, choose "Sign in when needed", even if Claude marks "No sign-in" as Detected. Click Add.
Start a new chat and ask for the document you need, for example: "Make me a PDF invoice for 10 hours of design work at 40 EUR an hour."

The first 3 PDFs a day need no account. After that Claude shows a Connect button: sign in to Pressa, or create a free account (50 PDFs a month, no card), and Claude carries on. Free Claude plans allow one custom connector.

Button does nothing? Add it by hand

In Claude open Customize, then Connectors.
Click "+ Add", then "Add custom connector".
Name it Pressa and paste this address:
https://api.pressa.dev/mcp
Choose "Sign in when needed" and click Add.

Added Pressa earlier with "No sign in"?

Claude cannot change that choice later, so it cannot ask you to sign in. In Claude open Customize, then Connectors, remove Pressa, and add it again with the button above.

ChatGPT

ChatGPT lets you add your own connector only in developer mode, which OpenAI offers on Business, Enterprise and Edu workspaces. On other plans, including Free, Pressa cannot be connected to ChatGPT yet.

On a Business, Enterprise or Edu workspace

Turn on developer mode in ChatGPT's settings (your workspace admin may have to allow it).
Create an app or connector and paste this address: https://api.pressa.dev/mcp
Start a new chat, turn the connector on, and ask for the document you need.

On any other plan

Make the document in a form on pressa.dev/templates: invoices, resumes, letters and more. You fill in the details and download the PDF.

Paste this into Claude Code

Claude Code adds Pressa itself and asks you to confirm.
